**UPDATED**
Michael Ruder is hosting Saturday's gravel grinder out of Olathe. The leaves are changing and Saturday's forecast looks great (Sunny and in the 50's) for his 62 miler out to Cleveland and back - Updated OCG Route. Today's light rain is a welcomed site and will keep the dust down making course conditions ideal.
What: The OCG
When: Saturday, Oct 29, 2011, 8:00 am start.
Where: Ride starts at the Price Chopper (15970 South Mur-Len Road, Olathe, KS)
Who: Any gravel grinding addicts.
The ride crosses state lines for our only water stop in the small little town of Cleveland, MO. This will be at mile 38 and will offer a nice chance to refuel/regroup.
For the first-time gravel grinders out here, how long would a ride like this be expected to last (including stops)?
ReplyDeleteSounds fun and look forward to meeting you out there.
If we average 15 mph the ride time is a bit more than 4 hours. Add in the stop 4.5-5 hours. This does not include a flat or other situations.
ReplyDeleteI hope thus helps
you guys are wimps. i'll be done in three hours flat.
